TSG Finishing will close its North Wales, PA converting facility and consolidate its operations into its four sites in North Carolina. Executives said the decision to center all of its operations in North Carolina came from a need to improve its turnaround time and make its products more consistent.
“What we lose from one location, we will gain in the other location,” says director of sales Bud Styles, affirming that the company will continue to be on the cutting edge of innovation within the nonwovens industry.

The closure is expected to be complete by the end of the summer.

“The consolidation will coordinate efforts within our organization and ensure that we meet our customer demands at the highest level of efficiency and flexibility to which our customers have become accustomed over the years,” says Jeffrey Goldman, president and COO. “This con­solidation will also allow us to utilize our significant assets and technology over a broader customer base and serve a wider variety of industries more efficiently because our plants will be located in closer geographic proximity to one another.”
